Film Density Test

Please refer to these instructions on how to make a strip for testing film/developer-combinations.
You can send your developed film to us and we will measure the densities of each exposure. The measurement will be done by a Heiland densitometer. Each exposure is measured three times and the average value is calculated. Measurement is done in the center of the negative. If you also want base and fog measured, please include an empty frame on the film (photo with fastest shutter time, smallest aperture and a lens cap on).
We will send you a data sheet with the measurements back.

If you want more than one film measured, please add the adequate amount of this service in your shopping cart. For example, if you want three films measured, add three of this item to your shopping cart. For reference we might have to mark the films, so the test results can be assigned by you.

The film is sent back to you by unregistered mail to keep your costs low. Please cut the film into strips which fit flat into an envelope, so it can be sent as letter.
We can not held responsible for the loss of film.
